One Christmas my Grandfather gave his girlfriend a pearl surrounded by diamonds in a pendant. It reminded her of a snowflake and it reminded her of him. Now two generations later around the holidays I pull that pendant out of my jewelry box and wear it. It reminds me too of a snowflake but even greater it reminds me of their love story that lasted fifty-four years and not just their story where the gift began but our family story and how decades later it became a gift for me.

A gift of jewelry begins a story, a special piece to mark a special date. A child receives her first charm on a charm bracelet or the earrings he gave to her Mom when she was born. One piece of jewelry can collect a lifetime of memories that can be passed on.
You can choose a piece that incorporates her birthstone, or your birthstone, a favorite color or just reflects her sense of style. Recently we got in a collection of monogram jewelry, a timeless gift that is made just for her.
Monogram jewelry available at Jewelry By Design.
A gift of jewelry is meaningful because it reflects a moment in time and that sentiment will go with her through her days as she wears it…and remembers.
